A whimsical micro wedding on the rocky shore of Elounda Beach

Emma & Jun

Emma and Jun, a lovely couple from France, travelled all the way to Greece, in Crete Island apparently, to tie the knot. Getting married in Greece, is like entering a world of dreams and clouds, a world of numerous destinations and spellbinding beauty.
Elounda beach is a cosmopolitan location, and while providing many options for weddings, that intimate ceremony just where the sea meets the shore was the wish of the couple. A handmade arch of woods, like someone has embroidered them to looks like a frame in front of the sea, some airy florals perched and two benches made of wood, outlined the ceremony area.
The beach of Plaka, was the backdrop of the exchanging of vows, and the private villa which hosted the reception & party up on the hill, welcomed a lovely dinner. The style of the day was semi-boho, yet so elegant and refined, with salmon hued plates, crystals and hints of wildflowers on the table.
Closing the day with the enormously graceful sunset, was that time the sun met the sea and we could not feel happier being there!
